technical elements

I would like to choose the monologue of the girl who mocks at her little sister for being afraid of monsters but then feels frightened as well to stage with technical elements.
First of all, the costume of the character is supposed to be pajama with cartoon patterns on it. The age of the character is around 12 so she is still young and prefers cute style. What's more, the scene happens before the girl going to sleep so pajama is the most appropriate costume.
As for the lighting, initially, the light is bright and full of the stage, after the line that the character says she feels afraid, the light becomes dimmer and focus on the character herself which demonstrates the change of her emotion, emphasizes her fear and creates the horrible atmosphere. In the end, the light should fade out gradually.
The sound of the monologue should be not too distractive so that audiences can focus on the character’s expressions. There should be the sound of dizzy rain throughout the performance, as soon as the light changes into the dimmer state, there can be a sound of thunder appears suddenly to exaggerate the turn of the atmosphere that frightens the character. The sound of dizzy rain continues to the end after the lights out.
The setting and prop of the scene are simple and direct. The character sits on the bed for the whole time so there should only be a bed placed near the window and a lamp next to the bed. The character holds a teddy bear at the beginning. When she feels there is a monster under the bed, she hides in the quilt as soon as possible.
